Since 2011, the Putra Group of Companies has successfully formed a joint-venture with MRCB, namely MRCB Putra Sdn Bhd, to undertake the development of a 13 storey commercial building with net lettable area in excess of 400,000 square feet in Putrajaya. The Group was also involved in the conceptualisation, planning and development of a 300 bed specialist hospital in Kuala Lumpur. In addition to other land planning consultancy works, the Group was also involved in construction works including 2 Giant Hypermarkets.

Dato' Tunku Putra Badlishah, founded the Putra Group Of Companies in 2011 and was appointed to the board of public-listed
AEON CO. (M) Berhad in 2013. Dato' Tunku started his career in Advertising before joining the Sime Darby Group where he accumulated a wealth of working experience in a diverse range of industries including advertising and communications, automotive, property development, investment and management, hospitality and leisure and healthcare.
He held senior management positions including Managing Director - Auto Bavaria, Operations Director - Sime UEP Properties Berhad and Managing Director - Sime Darby Healthcare. His last position with Sime Darby was Managing Director - Sime Darby Property, one of the largest property companies in the country.
Under his leadership, Sime Darby Property had many achievements and received numerous industry accolades including The Edge Malaysia Top Property Developers award in 2009. Key projects initiated include The Sime Darby Idea House, the first Carbon Neutral Home in Southeast Asia and the masterplan for the 100,000 hectare Vision Valley Malaysia. He was also appointed a director of Malaysia Property Incorporated, a Malaysian government initiative under the purview of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) to encourage foreign investment into Malaysia's property sector.
